EDC reaches out to Wilmington listeners

With the collapse of Super 91.7 WMPH radio station, Educational Dance Choice is here to keep you going with all the high energy music you've come to love.

Click one of the links below to listen to our stream similar to the former WMPH.

WMPH was the voice of Mount Pleasant High from 1969-2010.  From 2001 until 2010, WMPH was The BEAT of Wilmington featuring the dance contemporary hit music format.

Due to budget cuts within the school district, the station manager who initiated the dance music format was let go.

The last three songs airing on WMPH were as follows:
  • 11:50 PM - Kaskade & Seamus Haji with Haley "So Far Away"
  • 11:54 PM - The White Tie Affair "Candle (Sick and Tired) [Razor and Guido edit]"
  • and finally at 11:58 PM - Paul Van Dyk feat. Rea Garvey "Let Go"
The final song ended at June 11 at 12:01 AM.  Since then, WMPH has been off the air.

Many fans of WMPH were saddened by the loss of this much listened to high school radio station at 91.7 FM in Wilmington, Delaware.  Here at  Educational Dance Choice, we are posting this temporary page for the WMPH listeners.

Bring dance music back to Wilmington.  Contact your Delaware radio station managers and ask them to carry the Dance Radio Network on their HD Radio broadcast.
What is HD Radio?  FM stations now have the option to add more programming on their HD1, HD2, or HD3.  This opens up your radio dial to many new kinds of music... all for FREE.  You only need to listen on a radio receiver with HD capabilities.  Find out more HERE.
